How to be Happy
Extract: How to Develop a Positive Self-Image Self-image is an image of ourselves we have set in our illusion. It is a deposit of sensatory sketches, viewpoint, and opinion regarding ourselves. Perfect self-image is an aspiration of what you want to look like. Self–image is of two kinds – one is ideal self-image and the other one is perceived self-image. Perceived self-image is the real image of us. Guilt generates from the space between the two types of self-images. Guilt of our images lowers our self-esteem. To overcome guilt we should reduce the gap between Perfect self-image and perceived image. We can either do this to change our perfect image or improve our perceived image. One more way to save ourselves is to create a false image as our perfect image. Accepting or liking ourselves is the first step towards developing the self-esteem. We accept ourselves means accepting other’s opinion towards us. During learning try to know the duties of your hated portion of your appearance and you will get to know how important it really is. Adopt measures to keep your body and mind healthy like exercise, yoga, and get adequate sleep. Increase your confidence through enlarging your self-belief instead of saying this particular quality does not suit you, your age, personality, etc. This kind of flexibility helps us to go at any area of life. This kind of attitude helps us to face any kind of challenge. Negative thinking develops anxiety and nervousness that stops us from proceeding in any direction. Beware of negative emotions such as guilt, depression, and anger. They are the main obstacles in the path of success that lowers our motivation and confidence.

Forbidden Psychological Tactics Extract Forbidden Psychological Tactic #13 – Uniqueness What Makes You So Special? Do you do something that sets you apart from your competition in the marketplace? Do you make a better mousetrap? A cheaper mousetrap? Can you deliver your mousetrap in 20 minutes guaranteed? The unique quality of a product or service is the major reason that people buy from you instead of the guys down the block. So don't "hide your light under a bushel" for heaven's sake -- tell the world! Once your company has identified its uniqueness, it will be the key message communicated in everything you do. It is the message that becomes headlines for all of your ads, letters, brochures, TV, and radio messages. It's on the tip of your tongue whenever you're talking sales-talk, ready to make an impression on a potential customer when the time is right. Your Competitor is Good…But You're Better! You should know your competitor so well that when you ask the question, “What other {fill in the blank} have you been looking at?" you'll be able to respond to your prospect's answer by sharing specific details about that product or service and why selecting your product or service is a better choice. ************************************ Golden Nugget Don't bash the competition, just position "Brand X" as inferior to "Brand YOU." ************************************ A potential customer may be skeptical if you start hurling rocks at the competition. Instead of being negative, be positive -- explain that your competitor (or competitor's product is good enough, but that yours provides SUPERIOR value. The more intelligent your answer is, the more trust and confidence your customer will have in you and your advice. Since winning the hearts and mind (trust and confidence) of a prospect is half the battle in sales, you'll be well on your way to a big win. I Said It First! Domino’s Pizza advertised: “If we don't deliver your pizza within 30 minutes or less, it's free.” People assumed that Domino's had the fastest delivery; and they guaranteed that if they didn't, your pizza would be free. In fact, many of Domino's competitors were also delivering their pizzas in 30 minutes (or less), but they weren't saying anything about it. So Domino's was able to "cash in." ************************************ Golden Nugget Even if you do many things the same way your competitors do, the benefit you point to may be unique to a prospect because your competition doesn’t mention it. ************************************

Maximum Memory
Power Extract You CAN Improve Your Memory Almost everybody can improve their memory significantly. The extent of that improvement is related to the current state of your physical health, your enthusiasm for the task and the importance which you place on it. I believe that these methods and advice will help you, whatever your age and other circumstances. Of course, all readers are not starting from the same level – so, each person’s results will vary. Some of the systems and tips may not help you as much as they help other people. Everything in this ebook is based on my experience and practical research. I’m not a professional in this area. I use the material when performing as a magician and in all my business and social activities. A good memory is a valuable asset that enhances every part of your life - from remembering names and telephone numbers, to the punch-line of that joke which your friend told you last week. You will get the best results by doing the simple exercises in this ebook as regularly and consistently as you can manage. There’s similarities between improving the strength of our muscles and powering up our “cognitive ability”, which includes our memory. Doing your exercises in long sessions which can be tiring and boring won’t have as much a benefit for you as shorter, more regular sessions. Research on diseases of aging, such as Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, has indicated that keeping our minds active and positive may delay the onset of those diseases in some people. I believe that tasks which involve your own creativity, such as these, may have more benefit than crosswords or computer games where the creative content is mostly provided by the creators and not the participants. |

Stress the Silent Killer Extract 3. Stages of Stress When you are under stress, you experience and pass through three specific stages. These stages are Alarm, Resistance, and Exhaustion. However, you may or may not pass through all stages of stress, depending on the events that triggered the occurrences. First Stage: ALARM When you face any danger, your nervous system immediately sends an emergency signal to your brain. All the different body parts and their functions coordinate to either fight or flee away from the danger. You get more energy and your limbs work faster. This is clearly visible in your facial expressions as fear or tension. Normally, this stage of stress can be due to an actual event such as an accident. It is then primary stress. Otherwise, you could cause your stress like when you are appearing for an important examination. This is secondary stress. The general indications of this stage are your fast breathing with sweating and accelerated heart beat which leads to higher blood pressure and indigestion. Second Stage: RESISTANCE When you do not get any relief from the first stage of stress, you slowly start feeling a reduction in your energy levels. However, still you want to keep fighting the danger. Hence, you feel exasperated and are impatient with trivial matters. You miss your sleep schedules and find your resistance breaking down. Your body reacts by releasing the stored sugars and fats into your system. This leads to defined changes in your physical and mental behavioral patterns. The normal indications of this level are exhaustion, weariness, anxiousness, and being forgetful. You start smoking and drinking more to come out of your stress. Being weak, you are an easy target for colds and flu. Third Stage: EXHAUSTION When stress continues beyond the second stage and you do not adhere to remedial measures, the final stress stage of exhaustion settles in. You are now totally tired and drained out of all energy. You do not even have the desire or the drive to do your work or live your life.
